Xpert® MTB/XDR
The Xpert® MTB/XDR test delivers rapid, expanded molecular detection of drug resistance. It identifies Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) and mutations linked to extensively drug-resistant strains. This TB sputum test detects resistance to isoniazid (INH), ethionamide (ETH), fluoroquinolones (FLQ), and second-line injectable drugs (AMK, KAN, CAP). Using the GeneXpert® system, this test provides results in under 90 minutes.
